Bernard Badoux founded MD Consulting SA in Lausanne in 1991. His experience in management (with a strong focus on people management and human resources) is very comprehensive and diverse, reaching back to 1979. He is born in Switzerland in 1952 and has been educated simultaneously in two languages and cultures: French and German. This has been instrumental in lauching a truly international career.

His areas of expertise in international consultancy include strategic and corporate management, human resources in general and management development in particular. His consultancy career started in 1986 through several management training programmes first in Switzerland and then throughout Europe. He became a member of several faculties in the past, such as AMA in Buenos Aires (Learning Organisation), IBEC in Dublin (Human Resources Management), IMD in Lausanne (MBA programs), MCE in Brussels (various HR seminars), ZfU in Zurich (Leadership and Coaching) among others.

To date, Bernard Badoux's sevices have benefitted more than 100 organisations in more than 50 countries, consequently, he has reached a high level of notoriety and excellent performance record amongst his clients. Highly valued are his input in organisational development, management of change, cross-cultural integration and continuous learning.

Since 1984 he writes articles in corporate magazines, has authored on behalf of his clients several management manuals and guidelines and is requested to participate in roundtable discussions organised by the media.

Bernard Badoux started his career in Production Planning and Industrial Organisation in the pharmaceutical industry in 1976, joining the Nestlé headquarters in 1979 where he advised on implementation of human resource policies local affiliates in Latin America and worked as a project manager in various countries of Asia. Back to Switzerland, he was appointed Director of an international health care group in charge of human resources and organisation in 1984. Today, his experience also includes some appointments as member of the management board of international corporations representing a large range of private and public organisations from the industry and the service sectors mainly in Europe and the Middle-East.

He is appreciated as a « confidential sparring partner » or coach by many top executives and human resource professionals in various countries and very diverse organisations. He carries out his assignments through his own organisation based in Lausanne since 1991 equally in English, French and German. Today he is the driving force and one of the initiators behind the first truly international Cross-Cultural Top Executives and Business Leaders Club « The Gurus » which promotes and organises leading edge events for the further development of excellence in management.
